How to Use

• Hammer:
• Hold the hammer near the end of the handle (not the neck). When hammering a nail, hold the nail near its top, center the hammer on the nail, and use your elbow to swing
• Tip: Keep your eye on the nail, not your hammer
• Tape measure:
• The small black diamonds mark every 19.2”—the typical space between studs or floor joists
• Use the metal hook at the end to grab onto items for easier measuring
• Utility knife:
  • Always store the blade in the handle when not in use
  • Cut away from your body and use a shorter blade to avoid snapping it
  • It’s recommended to wear gloves when using knife
• Screwdriver:
• When tackling a screw, choose the screwdriver tip type and size that fits your screw’s head exactly right. Too big or too small and you’ll strip it
• Looking to tighten or loosen nuts instead? Remove the bits from the interchangeable shaft for two common nut sizes
• Level:
• It’s all about the bubble. Start with your level at the center of the object you’re aligning to see if the bubble floats perfectly between the two delineated lines at each vial’s center. For horizontal measurements, check the middle bubble. For vertical or 45° angles, see the left or right vial (depending on how you’re holding it)
